The Paul Bewie Boys & Girls Club provides diverse activities that meet the interests of all youth. Core Programs engage youth in activities with adults, peers and family members that enhance self-esteem and develop full potential. Based on the physical, cultural, and social needs and interests of girls and boys, and using developmental principles, the club offers program activities in the following five core areas.

Character & Leadership Development

Helping youth become responsible, caring citizens and acquire skills for participating in the democratic process is the main thrust of these programs. They also develop leadership skills and provide opportunities for planning, decision-making, contributing to Club and community and celebrating our national heritage.

Education & Career Development

Through local and nationally supported Club programs, youth are able to create aspirations for the future, and explore opportunities for career and educational enhancement.

Health & Life Skills

Youth are encouraged to maintain healthy and active lifestyles.  Education is provided on the mind, body, and soul level including healthy nutrition choices, drug and alcohol awareness and prevention, and positive self image.

The Arts

Youth enhance self-expression and creativity, develop multicultural appreciation, and develop skills in crafts and visual, performing and literary arts.

Sports, Fitness, and Recreation

Through local and nationally supported Club programs, youth are encouraged to develop fitness, explore a positive use of leisure time, and develop social and interpersonal skills through teamwork and sportsmanship.
